studded 128" track Installed, Rides great
I just ordered 153 studs to install in our new track. I am going to test out a 128" X 15" X 1" track. I am going to utilize the same stud pattern I have used for years with the 121". 4 far V in the middle, every other lug outside. This has given a great handling in the past on the 121". I hope to have some photos of the install soon. Al

Well, we got the 128" Hacksaw with 154 studs. Swapping the track and relocating the skid was easy. Everything went smooth no real hickups at all. The initial test ride revealed slightly more ski pressure but overall a smoother ride than with the 121. The skid is relocated 3.5" rearward. I did not have to get a tunnel extension either. As for the rear heat exchanger, we just angled it and the snow flap back just a few. If I was to do it again, I would move skid back 4". I will take a few photos once the snow melts off of the tunnel and suspension. Al
