Just got invited to a Demo Ride

Yamaha Dealership (Red River Yamaha) just invited me via e-mail to their Feb 16 Demo ride.I may just go and try out the new iron,,as long as it isn't -30 .Will try to make it out there,they are about an hour North of me.Here are some of the sleds.

Our SM demo ride will include the following units Nytro MTX, Apex EPS, Venture GT, Nytro XTX, Phaze RTX and dealer supplied units.

I would be interested in the Apex and Nytro XTX for sure.Anyone else going locally....Jeff Stein,Cam McGavin..etc
 

see that blue. after all the talk you have had about never getting a newer yamaha sled the dealer has listened.... now their ready to convert ya.
 
not sure about converting me...it is a free deal so I will give her a try.I think I got another member on here going also now,Wish I could borrow a helmet cam..
 
Hey Cam I will meet you at the Demo then..I wanna get there for around 10 am.;)!One way or another I will get some riding in..even if it has to be on a 4 stroker,,lol
 
I will go early as well. I may load up a couple of my sleds and haul them out as well just to go for a ride after depending how long we are allowed to be out on the demo's...lol... Should be fun...

Yes, I read the first post. I had no idea where Red River Yamaha was. :D:DP

After you ride them 4strokes you may not want to ride the SRX again. :WayCool:
 
Now if you rode your srx there and jumped back on it after the test ride.


You would say to yourself holymoly this thing sits low. :postwhore
 
that's the thing.Kinda like the way the SRX feels when you sit on it.I sat on a Apex in dealer showroom and didn't like the way I was sitting so high up...I love the SRX saddle way better and sitting lower..

I was kind of thinking of going the other way with mine in getting a seat riser made or perhaps saving up and buying a Boss seat.The old knees are really feeling it after riding now,too much abuse from hockey and other sports plus a weeee bit too much belly being carried around :bash: .
 
Do they even have any snow???? I thought the only place to ride in your area was the river. Maybe they will have a Bravo to demo. Might me more your style. lol. Just kidding. Have a great time. Al
