Just got invited to a Demo Ride

they are situated right along the River.Tons of guys ice fishing around there to.They also sell boats and bikes. So the River is kind of a perfect thing to have next to the bussiness.

I had a weird thought last night.I want to see if someone would trade me a 2007 Apex for my SRX and SXR.A straight trade..might post it all on Kijiji and see if there are any takers.A 2007 around here used is around $6800 to $7000.You never know who might bite for an SRX..

Best of luck on that. There are alot of sleds for sale
yes I know..tons of sleds for sale.I assume some guys got stuck with an extra sled when they bought new ones and expected to sell their used ones on kijiji.Going to be a lot of sleds for sale right into next season including a ton of 2012 sleds because of no snow. Can't always be rosie all the time.Jeff the long range forecast is not promising going into Feb. either and looks like should just fog the sleds till next season.I sort of knew were were not going to get any snow to ride after November and so far am right.Driest Past Summer and driest Winter on record here I do believe now. What will be happening for Summer???Spring supposed to be cool also...Tons of people not making money this winter that usually do from Winter.I am sure all the retailers will even have a ton of shovels and snowblowers left to go into next Winter.
Now manufacturers will not need to produce alot of stuff snow related next season because of the access of stuff out there..shovels,snowblowers,ski's,snowmobiles,Winter Clothing and boots,snowploughs..etc....which will translate into lay-offs.
My cousin relies on snow clearing for the city and has not made a penny yet...

Its a good time to buy a sled.Picked up a Vector in Dec. for a heck of a deal. Still seeing sleds for sale on Kijiji that were for sale since Nov!
This season sucks for sledding.
I will need to trailer my sleds if I want to go play on the Red this year.
We need those three day blizzards that we used to get back in the 80's (and even 90's).

yep really haven't seen them kind of blizzards for a long time ..hey global warming have gotten to us....systems won't develop and carry any moisture ..that is the trend apparently for years to come now..

as if I am not bored enough..but if I really get double bored tomorrow..I may even try to get the 600 into the very shallow snow in the ditches and make my way to St Adolphe and even see if I can get down the river bank..but it is supposed to be above 0 and maybe rain also..so not to promising. If we get any real rain..then that is finally the end for riding..

if my theory is right, the next big Blizzard should be in 2027..

1966 was a big one
1997 was a big one
2027 will be the next big one..

h'mmmm..I might be in my rockin chair by that time trying to remember where I am and how did I get here ...and wondering what a Yamie even is....:o|

There was a good one in 1986? Took a full day for three of us to shovel out the small 2 car driveway. Other 2 hours after the snowplow came by.
Somewhere around 1995-96 I got stuck overnight in Rosenort where I worked. That morning of the storm there was a -55c windchill and I was stupid enough to still go to work.

If i was in your shoes i would build a trailor with that welder you have and hook it to the back of that nice farm tractor,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,cart the sled over mr hainys field and dropem on the bank of the mighty red.lol

.

bluewho..working on it now..on my way to pu stein also...lol 3 C today and possible rain..that should make it easy to slide the sleds down the uneven River banks..getting back up is a different story....
