I am considering studding my 94 VMAX 600 ST. I am not sure of how many studs to use for my long track sled. I mostly trail ride. Don't want to go crazy with studs and what pattern should I use. Please help.
How many studs, what size what brand?

I would go down the middle on that long track...144 pattern with 3 every row. See the Tech Area under Sled Tech, Tracks...you will see some patterns. What track do you have??

144 seams like it might be too much for the hp
long track or short, you have about the same percentage of track on the ground at any time, so same number of studs.

The ST is a long track model. Motor is stock. May upgrade front skis which will change things also I think. I am new to this.
