low speed bog backfire on 600 triple

Hav A 2000 600 Triple Venture . Low Speed Bog And Backfire ,cleaned Carbs Reset Fuel Screws Seems To Be Loading Up On Mag Cyl, Any Help Please ????RUNS CLEAN AND HARD OVER 5K RPM.

ideas:
1.) pilot jet or pilot circuit not clean thru the carb, you have to remove the jets and spray cleaner thru circuit, should come out of throat of carb. Is fuel screw same setting as other cylinders?

2. leaking needle and seat will cause a cylinder to be rich at low speeds, usually the engine can keep up and clean it out at higher rpm.

3.) bad reed on block

TOOK OUT ALL JETS AND SPRAYED CLEANER AND AIR THROUGH, CAN / SHOULD I TRY LEANING OUT FUEL SCREWS A BIT ????

is it backfiring out the exhaust or into the airbox?

Weak spark will load up the system with fuel. Check the sparkplug caps ( 5k ohms) and test the stator. Both can cause your symptom at lower rpms.

Thanks guys, super cleaned carbs again ,fresh gas ,and plugs,adjusted choke cable,checked and cleaned plug wires,also set fuel screws to 1 and 3/4. Has'nt run this good for years.

good glad you got it. I know guys all the time say they cleaned the carbs but you have to be very sure its clean in the jet and passage way in carb, enjoy the sled and have a safe season!
