94' vmax clutching

I recently got a vmax given to me i love the sled, i just rebuilt the top end, and went for a spin, realized the secondary clutch is toast and the primary is on its way out. ive been searching around and found that a polaris p85 clutch will work with my machine, but i would like to upgrade the secondary to something a little better.

my real question is can i put a secondary from a newer vmax with the outside helix on my machine or do i have to change over the jack shaft to the newer vmax aswell?

you need one from 95 or 96, these are the only ones that will fit your jackshaft. you wont have to change the shaft, but you will need a new bolt and washer, the collar, along with the shim washers for the offset in and out.

i have the numbers wrote down somewhere for these parts, but basically they are the same ones used on the 95-96 secondaries.
