Stock srx vs machz1000

Well just because I loved it so much, must have been 3-4 years ago now
a buddy of mine had a big mouth at about 1:00am in a tavern got me into a race
I didnt even know what kind of sled the guy had, walked outside and it was a brand new mach 1000. Anyway I beat him by about 3 sled lenghts (approx 1/4 mile). My srx 01 clutched thats it,I got him off the line and he was never cought up. I had 20 bucks on it, after the race told him to keep his money and spend it on clutching.
He was just a young guy maybe some experiance would have had different results.
I bragged about that night for quite a while and I guess I still am

Sorry guys......your modded and clutched SRX's might pull one for a few hundred feet, after that it's game over. My good buddy has one , super strong on top, just sayin!

to each thier own but........ when your talking modded... you just never know what actually lies onder the hood... through experience and knowledge from one sled to another makes all the difference. some run faster some run slower but on average your prolay right. but dont be suprised if that one guy came along and moped up the whole floor.... you never know... just saying :2strokes:
 
True seen a 440 one day clean up on lake one day. It was just some boys playing around he had it studded to the nuts and was hooking up awesome no one else was set up at all for the conditions that day. Like I said just playing around no huge horsepower sleds I had a 600 vmax at the time another guy had a 500 Indy and a 600 zrt. He had a 440 mxz spanked all of us he had the bragging rights that day lol it was a frozen lake with only 2 inches of fresh snow not much traction
