I have a small rip on the top of my seat about 1.25" in diameter. Other then that the seat is perfect. I was wondering if any one has used plastic dip or a rubber coating of some sort to repair it. Like you use to coat the handles on your pliers or channel locks. Any other ideas?? Thanks

Never tried that coating stuff but I repaired a seat on a 95 vmax a few years ago. I dont remember the brand name, I got the kit at an RV store,If I remeber correctly its was for vinyl type awnings. Put the liquid in damage area, place the non-stick clothe from kit, iron and wallah fixed. Was really easy repair and black was a pretty easy match. Had sled for 2 seasons after and held up great.

i fixed mine with E-6000 ,got it at meijer...great stuff . I use to fix winshields, seats ,and rubber intake boots to name a few. try It

I tried a vinyl repair kit made by permatex and it did not work very well. I'll have to check that stuff out Any one try that stuff called tear aid ??

A piece of vinyl w/ rubber cement on both surfaces. Let it sit about 10 minutes before you place the vinyl where you want. It should almost feel dry to the touch. Touch up the edges of the vinyl w/ a Sharpe to blend w/ seat.
