Triple pipes

If I was going to do pipes again I would probably go with the SLP's. I have heard they are one of the more friendly set of pipes. The little feedback I have had on Jaws have been good but they are so rare I think, other than the pipe mfg., you would be hard pressed to find any setups from current or former users. The thing I never liked on the Benders was one pipe fits over the head (heat). But there was one guy on here that was going to try running an SRX ignition (which runs at 8500 rpms) and the Bender pipes being they were the only aftermarket pipes that run at 8500. All the others out there ran at around
8800-9100 to get around the Vipers ignition spike.

If I could do it over I would go with slps as well. I have heard very good things about them and I really like that they give you A clutching and jetting chart.

Here is the link on the Benders from their website.

They just say they run near stock operating RPM. I remember them advertising stock RPM. Not saying you are wrong and I have never had them on a dyno to dis-prove or prove anything. Maybe Bender bumped them up a bit too over time. Originally they had alot of issues when the Vipers were new with their pipes. Mostly it was their setup. I think they developed the Opti-Cool headgasket after the fact. From what I have heard their current setup works pretty good.

I bought some Benders off eBay and get the heel clicker clutch kit Benders has for sale. Sheet says they run at 8700 to 8800. So idk man. My run very good at 8800. Smoked a modded 05 Rev 800. LOL

Journeyman. I have Bender trips on my Viper
When i got the sled it was all built I didnt put a thing on it... M-10, pipes, Clutch kit, gears, jets,Cold air kit. etc... It has just about every mod you can do to it on it.. I tried to have slp pipes on my 2002 viper engine that I placed in a 2004 viper mtn. The cylinders is ported. We tried different jetting and cluthing but whatever we did the sled run bad. And in the powder its bog. We took a set hauck cpr pipes instead and wow....the sled just scream and fly. In my opinium the slp pipes is just crap.

Sounds like poor setup, as SLP pipes are awesome and don't suck. I would run them before benders or AAENS.

Dont know what we done wrong. First we tried slp spec. jetting and that was rich so in the end we have 160 main and 45 pilot. With oem cluthing it hit 8800 and it feels weak and bogged in powder. It seems to not produce any more power then stock. Same setup with cpr pipes the sled just scream and overrev. So in my opinium the cpr pipes are a better choice and much better sound to
