Ok so i just went up to the UP over the weekend. There was miles and miles of straight aways following the powerlines and railroad grades.. it was amazing never been up there before. I pretty much had it pinned the whole time but i started to give it a break after awhile.. so it was stayin right around 8500rpms for most of the straights and towards the end around 7000 till i got to the turns. when i tried to keep it anywhere from 4500-6000rpms it would bog and kinda sounded like it wasnt running on all 3 cylinders till i gave it again to 7000+. it would run fine till 4500, then bog like a bitch till 7000 then it ran like a top. after keeping it at 5500 for awhile through the woods i could start to smell the gas and it was even starting to burn my eyes a bit. i was getting worried cause it was sucking fuel because i couldnt run at 60mph though some parts and to keep it at 5000 to 6000 i really had to push the throttle farther than it normally is to keep it at the same rpm. i swapped the spark plugs and it helped but the ones that were in looked fine. they were a nice consistant light brown but i did notice the clutch side plug looked a bit oily but nothing bad. still looked like it should have been working fine. the plugs i switched out i also just changed that morning. only had about 100 maybe a little more miles on them. after i swapped it ran alot better than it was but every once in awhile it would still bog. any advice would be much appreciated. thanks for reading i know its a bit long. :]

For the fuel smell, check the vent hose where it goes into the tank behind the grip warmer dial. The vent hose shrinks and pulls out of the tank.
For the bog, check out/ohm the plug caps and see if they are in spec. Also check the carbs and be sure everything is good there. When you pull the carbs check the reeds too.
