Dear Mikuni, you suck
I finally got out for my first ride today. Nothing crazy just 15 miles to make sure everything is ready to go after swapping reeds and can this summer. Plugs looked great, nice tan color so I don't think I'll need to rejet for the reed/can combo. My ice scratchers worked great too kicking up enough snow to keep my stripped skid cool. Only one problem I had idle hang like crazy, it would sit right at 4000 rpm and a quick shot of choke would drop it right back down to 1600. I came home to add a 1/4 turn to the idle jets to tame it down and holy $h!t what a PITA! I guess I didn't think too much about it when I cleaned and drained the carbs last spring for summer storage, but wow did they drop the ball when they put the screws on the BOTTOM of the carb. Clearly the engineer behind the computer had never ridden or worked on a sled before because any bit of common sense would have put them on the side where their accessible with the carbs installed.
Just my rant, looking forward to getting more miles on the sled next.

1. Tech section
2. Engine
3. Look for SRXSRULE'S REMOTE FUEL SCREW ADJUSTERS
4. I think it is 3rd or 4th from the bottom.

found it, not something that will happen this winter but I'll have to keep it in mind for this summer.
The remote adjusters are nice, but once you have them dialed in you really shouldn't have to mess with them anymore. If you have more than one sled and you are always changing things they can be handy cuz you can put them on when tuning and then remove them later or move to another sled.

Good catch, I was tired when I wrote the OP. I only added 1/4 turn and it seemed to fix it at least with the sled in the back of my truck, I'll know for sure when I get out on the snow again.
