i think the biggest reason he dont like me is because i was correct about these triples having a tendency to race(idle hang) when the base idle is set 2 high as opposed 2 necessarily being 2 lean. nobody knows it all, even i have learned that.

thats been a well discussed option for many years here. long before you or me. do a search. but besides that lets all keep to the subject and not let this become another davidgboy dogpile thread.

quite honestly it has to do with your need to re engineer of everything that has worked just fine for 15+yrs, but your no where even close with your fault finding process. Maybe you could build your own line of snowmobiles because obviously the yamaha brand is seriously flawed in all its design of the tors switch, carbs,no 2 speed idle...(lmao), oiling system,steering radius of chassis.

Why even ride one of those piles of junk vipers?? Why even ride a yamaha if all you can do is find problems with everything on them.

so I think your a little goofy, dont know ya so I wont say I dislike ya but dont see me spending alot of time reading/helping with your "problems" as almost every single one is self inflicted.

you bring up some good points. the oiling system idea was dum. the exhaust idea really just wanted to see if i could make a rear exit ex. worked great except for people close behind me with the exhaust being more concentrated. the more i looked at it the less i liked it. will be going back to stock exit this week sometime. was still fun somehow. illness can be like that. i, my brother, and nephew have a high idle provision. it is nice. faster initial warmup, allows u to lower the base idle nice and low. the steering mod. is nice. well worth the effort. i can undersatand how i tend to "rub" people the wrong way. so anyway keep up the good work, u do a great service here. u are certainly more of an asset than i will ever be on here. i just as soon let by gones be just that. peace!
