There seems to be a lot of talk about the power inc end dumps this winter concerning jetting and clutching. I was able to run mine today in about 4 inches of new snow so ill share my results. I'm running 147.5 mains, 50 pilots, and all needles raised half a clip, fuel screws 1 3/4 out. I followed Mr.Vipers thread on jetting a sled http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showthread.php?t=53735&highlight=jetting. I was able to accurately test the low speed and needle circuit and both were trail safe, good wash and the plugs looked like his trail safe plug, maybe even slightly like the spot on one except without the complete silvering of the top of the center electrode. For the main jet circuit I wasn't able to do that accurately as I only able hold it pinned for about 300 feet but I checked it anyway and it looked just like the others. The engine runs super clean and really snappy, there is a idle hang at 3000rpm for about 7 to 10 seconds then it goes down completely. Temp was 25 degrees and i'm at sea level. And my fuel was about 70% 91 octane and 30% 87.

As for clutching im running stock springs (wsw primary and green sec), 89L weights w/2.4g rivet, and a mystery 52/44 helix at 70. This thing rips!!! peak rpm is right around 8500 where it should be and pulls hard, especially right of the line. It feels about as fast as my srx with even better throttle response. Overall im happy with the results.

Edit: I should also mention sled is 100% bone stock besides pipes, jetting, and clutching.

I have a Power Inc Quiet Can for these pipes. Anyone know what something like that is worth? One of 6 ever made, so the rumor goes.
