2002 Viper ouch!!!!

I think its a storage problem not from fuel that's y the bearing went, got some rust on it from sitting then heated up and well you see.
 

main bearings usually are from storage moisture problems, but if he doesnt raise the needles while its apart, he will then be replacing the pistons, and crank from lean burn downs caused by the absolute crappy gas and the high ign. timing of the viper in the cruise rpm section of the powerband.

my sled runs great on 89 octane. all stock. had it reading 107 on the dreamometer with the temp above 40. if it was really cold could be a whole different story though. got my oil cable set at ~19.5m.m. seems nice there. the issue with the gas is its tendency to attract moisture the way i understand it. certainly need to use gas treatment and not keep it around very long. how long? hard telling. 2 months is probaly too long i would say. i am not practiced at adjusting needle position. will probaly spend some time at it in off season so i will not be sorry in really cold cond.
