What kind of fuel mileage would a 00 SXR 700 with a Hauck 760 BB and Power Inc triple pipes get. I would guess around 8 or 9, sound right?

It depends on how hard you load the motor with gearing/clutching.
8 or 9 mpg I would guess would be loaded hard with good traction.

What clutching are you running on your piped 760?

I don't have a 760, there is one for sale locally that I am interested in and I wanted to know how they are on fuel. It has the CPR pipes, and the guy says a Hauck Stage 4 kit so whatever that consists of is what it has for clutching, however Ive heard those kits don't work as well as a "custom tuned" one. If I did get it id put my PI's on it and sell the CPR's. The main thing I'm concerned about is how far ill be able to go on a tank of gas.
Not apples to apples - but I get about 120 to a tank on my piped/ported mountain max when just trail running it. Hard we use it, the more fuel it takes.

OK I could live with that, as long as I could get 100 miles to a tank trail riding id be happy. Thanks

SXR Fuel Economy
How can you get 120 miles per tank?? I have a 700 SXR with bender pipes etc NOT a BB and I only get 68-72 miles per tank!!!
Trying to figure out how to get 100 miles per tank. Otherwise it is really hard to trail ride!
