Can you give an example of #2?

2) outside not prone to rodents but prone to changes in temp. and humidity

The weather will constantly change OUTSIDE?

throw all common sense out the window..now is the time to ride..hit the gravel, hit the water..what you have to lose.At least on Dec 21 you can say you rode your sled..snow or not...as the World turns upside down and drowns us..lol

Just for the sake of arguement I will be doing several storage methods and let every one know the results. I never even started 00 srx7 this year. stored last year with fogging oil alone. Cleaned carbs and put cluches back on so I will be giving each carb a snort of fresh oil and taking clutches back off. Stored both 99srx7's with atf and a snort of fogging oil in plug hole. 98 srx600 and 00 sxr7 will get just fogging oil and clutches will be removed as well. All sleds will be stores with empty tanks. I have an electric in line pump to empty 99%, leave cap off for the lil bit left to evaporate and then before re-filling I shop vac the tank, I have a pvc tube made just for this. All the 700s stored in a enclosed 4 place trailor and srx 600 in a clam shell 2 place. the 4 place wont have the severe swing in weather as the 2 place will. As stated in other posts rodents are irrelevant. Unfortunately no matter what method is used IF YOUR NOT DOING IT RIGHT THEN YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME. Some guys say pulling clutches is unnessary but at the least you need to pull the belt off the sled. As far as starting it every couple weeks all summer.......probably better off to use staggs (underwater) method!
