I have noticed that there are some posts here about the throttle override system acting up. There is also a write up on how to dissassemble the whole thing to clean it to get it to work. Here's the thing, if you don't want to dissassemble the whole thing, concentrate on cleaning the button and the "arm" the button touches when you let off the throttle. I had the TORS on my srx acting up on my last trip. Here's what I did,
-Stopped the sled and turned it off
-Squeezed the throttle lever, dipped a Q-tip (the things you clean your ears with), in an alcohol solution.
-while holding the throttle lever, cleaned the arm/lever" that the button touches, and then the button. There was a lot of dirt in there, gathered from the 2001/2002 season till today!
-Re-checked the throttle cable tightness. Ok. And then it worked like new.
