Can anyone tell me the best way to clean power valves(do they come apart from cable?]

pretty easy job, remove them from the jug, and they can be removed from the cable by sliding the cable end out of the valve end. i used a can of parts cleaner and soaked them in a cofee can over nite them use a wire brush to remove the access carbon. ( very lightly with the brush) i hope this helps ya out....................jim

Easy task, you can do it yourself. Do a search within the forum there is some good info from MrSled on how to disconnect valves from cables. Also refer to the Technical Page within this site, Yamahaulic gives step by step directions (wasy to follow) on how to complete this task. Should be a no brainer. Just make sure you do not over tighten the screws when putting back together. Tight is tight, to tight is loose again!
