Last time I tried it though it was one of those, hold my beer and watch this moments... in other words not much prep when into it, other than pulling off the the seat and duct taping the vents closed.
Are the ski's for waterskipping smaller? I would have thought you would want them bigger.

It was a good time, Yamaha's have some hole in the bulk head that have to be closed off but other than that they go good.. All I did to this one is narrow it, clutched it wich needs more work for back shift and geared it its at 19/39 with is 2.05 ratio but I think 19/43 2.26 ratio would be better..

Shorter skis are not needed but it does help if your running ovals..

When you narrowed the front end, did you use Mtn Viper Radius Rods or did you shorten the stock ones?

narrowed the stock ones 5" on eatch side, it is now 31"

I thought it looked narrower than a mtn sled front end.
