00 srx 700 vs 98 suzuki gsxr600

i have a buddy that says his 98 gsxr 600 would beat me in the 1/4. my 700 has about 150 hp not sure what a gsxr makes but he is a fairly new rider, pretty sure he cant shift the greatest. his biggest thing is that he can go 150mph, all he talks about. he wont bet any money so i think he knows what would happen. so guys, who do you think would win?

I'd give the win to the SRX 700...I doubt the bike will hook up in the snow.

The bike will be left at the line, as that is the hardest part to perfect on a bike, the launch. Then he has to play catch up. That bike should be mid to low 11 sec. At around 120 MPH I think. Judgung from having 600's pass me on my vMax (bike) at about 3/4 track.
