stuff a modded 809 in the SRX chassis then go from there that would be something to try out
You can make big power with a 1000 srx. I have prostock that I run on the ice it is a 999cc and makes 262hp in current form. Some more case work and some diads will be in the 270's. Benoit Power!

No website. And no pics or video. It should run good numbers this year as I am stretching it to a 144 and a different skid. Last year it ran 5.4 with a proline 136. Which all it wants to do is wheelie so I have to gear it to the moon and numb the cluthing so it will leave flat. If I can get it to run 5.2's 5.3 it should be a contender. I do have Benoits number. He is right here in Vermont. And he does'nt just boost up the dyno numbers either. When I first brought my sled there it made 220hp and on someone elses dyno it made 245. I wish I had him build it from the start, oh well live and learn. I have heard good things about Iantomasi also they seem to build some pretty stout motors. Ok enough rambling.

I have used iantosmai before awesome guys. And they are only 4 hours away. Thanks for the info. What carbs and who pipes are you using? We have looked into building a 1000 cc engine. I like to know more about them

Currently I am using crankshop 52's. Going to switch to Diads. Sick of messing with the crankshop's, always changing do to weather because of the large venturi. As for pipes they are crankshop stampings built to Benoit's specs. They are a small volume pipe that is the same as they run on there 800 motors. My motor is a 68mm stoke which requires a smaller pipe. Once again someone said to use jaws pipes, they were to big. They worked but not like what I have now. It made 15 more hp with these and revs higher.
