Yep that is what I thought when I seen it.

Seen some fast Cats and none of them had a Yamaha clutch on them. If you did have a 750 back when they first came out. You had two choices, make your own weights, rivets, springs, helixs. Or bolt on a Cat, Polaris, Comet. I still have all my jigs for weights and rivets I made.
If your a big fan of yamaha clutch, you have only played with the "good stuff' they made right after 95. Before that, you would like to wack someone in the head with both your new yamaha clutchs that won't shift on your $10,000 new sled

THERE WAS NOTHING EVER WRONG WITH THE YAMAHA PRIMARY. THE SECONDARY WAS THE CULPRIT UP TO 1995. DID HUNDREDS OF CLUTCH KITS FOR 750,s. also several exciter sx,s. secondary belongs in garbage. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Nothing wrong with a YPZ, but your not about to put one on a vmax4. Yamaha didn't have a weight that worked. They changed tower bushings, weights, belt..
All of it was a problem, not one part

u get into the newer vertion 95 and up yami secondary get them machined for true ness they will be .10thou out of round that has an effect on belt squize. run the super torque roller set up with out interference angles , that bolts up to the yami secondary with some maching but of coarse u can,t use this set up for stock. so for stock go with the dalton 53/44 helix and the bender blue white spring on its soft setting that will give u 16 lbs pull on ur secodary before it moves in ur yami primary use the drag and fly weight , grind in the notch for 5800 rpm engage ment , those weights weigh 60 grams empty. 68 grams with the heavy black spring and 2 shims on the primary cover will run u 8300 rpm i know this as its tested and proven on my 2010 nytro , i have beat many f7 cats and only raced 1 srx beat from start 2 finish. and if ur apex is not well set will take them out 2. i like the yami clutches they are lighter and strong this is important in rotating mass. u must work these clutches and when u do look out . what i like about drag and fly weight u can hang weight on the back side of the weight 3 grams this is really important for belt squeeze and the vmax 4 needs lots of it as they will slip the belt a lot if not set up right and that will hurt ur start time big time. my nytro 153 long track mountain sled has been radared at 121 km hr 500 ft on snow drag track. and thats a stock 600 which i run in impro 600 and sno pro 600 and stk 700.
