Another Bender racing rant

I don't know if this is the right forum and I know it's already been covered, but I am very disappointed in Bender's mail order business. I ordered online an Opticool gasket for my Viper on 7/13. They never answered any of my emails requesting status and on 8/06 sent me a status update stating the gasket was shipped UPS. Now it's 08/16 and still no parts. No Ups takes that long to get here. Also despite having a good price on their part the shipping was $14 to Michigan for one gasket, that's outragous. If it wasn't for being the only guys who had this part I never would buy from them.
What's truely upsetting is some guys have no problems at all which tells me it's a problem with management on their part. It's so hit or miss with them, that's what gets me. Oh well sorry for the rant but I want others to know what they are in for when ordering from Bender.

Doesnt hauck make the gasket to or am i wrong. I had the same issue with them last uear. Never again will they see my money.
 
u have to call and call. they shipped a $400 order i made last year to another state. they sent out the order again and got it right the 2nd time
 
Hauck does carry that gasket also, but their price is more and Hauck's shipping is just as outragious. Last year I orders a $24 set of 4 offset bogey spacers and Hauck wanted $19 shipping regular UPS. I did call and they did reduce it to $12. I am going with Hauck next time. Atleast you get your order this century.

I guess. I would.be willing to spend a couple extra bucks knowing i will get my parts in a timely manner.
 
I had the same problem with them. I emailed and emailed them no replies. Although I just had questions, that's no way run a business. Their comstomer service sucks! I almost got in my car and made a personal appearance since bender is only about 40 min. From me.😡
 
Man gil keep on them. It is very random which is a sign of bad management for sure. Call, call, call. And if you need help callin let me know, ill call too.......!
 
I wanted to buy one of there clutch covers guess i pass on it seeing its that hard to get
 
i am 2 mi. down the road from them. i will forward mike this thread & tt him. i'm certain he will correct the situation. it's the off season & things can fall thru the cracks.

I've bought from Hauck too, no problems except inflated shipping price. Whe I checked them on that they did lower it a little. As for bender, thanks Bob if you could do that it would be great. I called all day Friday and no answer. I know no UPS takes 12 days from New York to Michigan. I do have a mind to just buy several opticools from Hauck and have them on hand for any TY members for just whatever they cost me. I'd like to find out who makes them and buy them direct. I'll post if I do so.

Thanks Bob, I haven't heard from him yet, I'll let you guys know. I received an automated e mail on 08/06 stating it was shipped UPS ground but it gave no tracking number or info. I know there is no UPS method that takes 13 days from New York to Michigan. So that is BS.
 
Buddy just ordered a gasket from bender. I told him go to hauck but he didnt listen. See how long this takes. Any bets?
