Another Bender racing rant

I wouldn't make any bets, but let us know how he makes out. Apparently the guy doesn't have any problems lying to your face either. Bob, I got no phone call or e mail from him either. Even after you stopped over there. Thanks for trying to help though. It's definately the last thing I buy from there. Does anyone know who manufactures the opticool gasket for the Viper? I may try to just buy a few for myself and any members that might need one. That way a guy could get one at a reasonable price in a timely manner. Gil

Thanks Bob, I really appreciate your stopping by there. I checked the Tracking number and He didn't ship it til 2:38 pm on 08/20/12. So, that tell me despite send ing me a shipping notification on 08/06 he didn't send my part until all this started and you contacted him. If no for you I probably still wouldn't have it. Thank You again

Not trying to start anything. Just saying i had the exact same issue last year had to.call once a day for like two weeks before i finally got my stuff and this was after a month of waiting and listening to the dude lie to my face multiple times.
 
guys..just screw them and don't order from them..once the word spreads..they will be out of business.Never heard of a Company acting the way they do.Customer means nothing to them I guess..they should not be in Business and that is the truth.There are other friendly,truthful and honest Companies that would want your business instead..make the switch,send Benders an e-mail stating they will not get you business anymore and you are buying from their competition and tell them you will spread the word also..man can't believe they just shipped it after bob talked to them.what a bunch of crooks.I would not be impressed if this happened to me.
 
I'm just trying to find out who manufactures the opticool? Since Hauck and Bender both carry them obviosly someone else makes them. If I can find out and order direct, I will get a half dozen and post it on the site so other members can get them from me in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Just whatever they cost me. Thanks Bob, I'll do that. I like Bender's products, just their business practice needs work. I don't think he realizes how much business he loses with this stuff. He could hire a high school kid to do his mail order and have him fill orders and ship products everyday and he would make money.
 
Thanks Jaime I will contact them. Well, the gasket finally came today what an ordeal for one stinkin gasket. Thanks a bunch Bob for all your help. I am sure without your stopping by there who know's when it would've came, I owe you one! I guess lesson learned.
 
If you dont pay handling they put the stamps directly on the gasket and just throw it in the mailbox.
 
I see I am not the only one having trouble with bender shipping one opticool gasket. Been over a month and I haven't seen it yet. Called several times and they say it cleared customs over a week ago. Does not take that long from the border. I am not happy. They took my money and the shipping was as much as the gasket for in the mail.. holy crap.. called again and they said they would call me back right away. Didn't happen! !
 
This thread made me leery but a few months back I ordered 2 new red heelclicker springs from them. I ordered on a tuesday and the springs were at my house that friday. It seems like most the people with problems ordered opticools, makes me wonder if part of the problem is whoever is supplying the gasket.
 
Case of over selling what they don't have. That what sounds like to me.
 
Well they told me it was in stock and not a problem. I dont mind waiting but when you say its shipped and it doesnt show I have a problem. When you say you will call back and dont, I have a problem. I just bought some parts from another T.Y member last Thurs and they were put in the mail. He shipped on Friday and they were here Monday afternoon. (Thanks 02Viperguy) I just think customer service could be better..
 
Cam are you losing it or what???? Take it easy..lol.How have you been..did you rebuild that motor in your Viper and long track it ??I am ready to ride,sleds are all set to go..
By the way..did you sell your house and move in to the Country side..thought you were saying something about getting out of the City..anyways welcome back on board here..
 
Hey Doug, Been out of the city for 3yrs or more now..You must be getting old, your memory is going..lol.. One motor is rebuilt top to bottom thats what i need the gasket for. Started doing the second motor which will be more than stock. Kept one stock and doing the other with some more punch. Didnt have time at all this summer. Tore sled down to a shell in spring and have put her back together in the last few weeks. Everything painted and powder coated. Decided to keep her short tracked for speed and have been doing some work on the Venture with the long track. She will rip as well. Need a 1 1/4 track for venture and she is ready to go.. I am loosing it but thats because of age with a little Bender help thrown in..lol.. Hows things with you?
