where can I find what year etc. my sled is? serial # 89K-002111, Exciter ll ,91?-92?-93? also I have an 87 Exciter that looks like the oil pump is leaking oil-can I repair with new seals? thanks for any help

YOUR EXCITER IS A 92 AND YES THERE IS SEAL AND OR GASKET FOR THAT OIL PUMP. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Tanks tony, will the oil pump from the 92 fit the 87and be an acceptable replacement? The 87 has the discharge lines in the intake flanges which I would leave there .92 pumps into the fuel line ahead of the fuel pump

The 87 # is 8AY-13101-00-00 , the 92 # is 88R-13101-00-00 , they both come up $268.93 , must be an update on the 92, both are available , is the 92 pump an acceptable replacement for the 87 ?

YES, SHOULD ALL WORK, DIFFERENCE MAY ONLY BE IN CABLE SPEC. YAMAHA ALWAYS RAN THEIR FIRST YEAR SLEDS RICH. 3:16 (yammie tony)
