Resale demand.... what's selling and what isn't?

Ok some of you guys know about my predicament here,trying to find another sled specifically an 01 or 02 SRX and I am a little dissapointed in the fact that there isn't as many for sale yet on the sites I've been checking.One of the things I've kept in the back of my mind in selecting my choice for the second sled is resale of it,not so much resale value as demand.
My mind set is to buy another SRX in the 01/02 vintage and ride it myself while my son rides my 98 for at least this year and then sell the 98 and buy an Apex.But whatever I buy I still want to be able to sell it when it comes time to upgrade a few years in models and I am seeing sleds for sale now that have been for a while and it's got me wondering what the market is like in other areas.
I have had plenty of opportunities to buy Vipers and V Maxs but that isn't the sled I'm looking for,it's not that I don't like those sleds I do but I'm really looking foreward to finding a nice SRX to add to the garage.
 
SRX's are getting hard to find. They are becoming a sled that everyone is hanging onto, since it's not quite as popular to find as Vmax's and Viper's.
 
I was using Searchtempest yesterday and found a couple nicely equipped SRX's in our region. Not as many as I would have thought, but they are around.

What I did notice is the amount of sleds being advertised after Haydays (last weekend) and after our first frost (this week) WOW, there has got to be 20x more sleds posted!

So keep that mind for your region. People's brains will shift gears once a few triggers happen. It's about that time as traffic on here, TY4-stroke and Hardcoresledder have gone up as well as of late.

Good luck with your search. Use some different keywords in your search, and sometimes a mispelling will uncover a cherry!
