Seafoam...

Okay, after hearing about Seafoam on this forum, I decided to hunt the stuff down and found some available here in northern Ontario. I never heard of it before until Totallyamaha and the autoparts stores around here have just started stock it weeks ago.

Anyway, how much Seafoam are you guys using in your gas in your SRX's?? How often are you guys adding it to your gas??? The instructions say one can per 30-90 litres of gas (SRX tank about 42 litres). One full can seems like a bit much. The can also says "more to clean, less to maintain". I just cleaned and adjusted my valves.

I would put less in to maintain....1/4 of that dose.

I add half a can every other tank, powervalves are always clean.

www.seafoamsales.com, states that both Carquest and NAPA both carry the seafoam line. We have both in Woodstock, but I have not checked either one.

Go to the seafoam website and email customer service. Tell them where you live in Ontario and someone will email you back telling you the stores closest to you that sell it. The seafoam rep also gave some extra tips on how to use it.
