exciter pipes?

i was searching around and i found pipes from a 87 vmax 540 lc i looked up and bolth the vmax and exciter had identicle hp (vmaxmore) but i was wondering if i could swap pipes 87vmax pipes on a 87 exciter

Doubt if they will fit. Being that they both dump into the same can fitment needs to be spot on. Not sure how they would run on the 570. They were about perfect on the 540 though. I have both stock and Aaen twins for the Vmax 540 here if you wanted to check fitment before you bought any.

I had Reichards singles on my 88 first the Pro-pipe and later the Stealth and both were a very noticeable improvement without the headaches of the finicky twin setups. The Exciter was designed as a low end torquey engine.
