Here's some pics (I hope)...yournytech said:X2... Mine ('98 SRX) has 3. As previously stated you would only have a 4 wheel if it were an aftermarket kit/add-on. Also as previously stated it can't just "fall off/out" w/o leaving something on the shaft. Possible your second SRX has an add-on to make it 4. I'll take a pic in the AM if you want...

Yes... it looks odd, but true! lol
My '99 SX came with only (3) wheels like shown in the picture. I added the 4th wheel by having to buy only the wheel. Here's how:
1. Remove your rear axle assembly
2. Measure the two spacers on either side of the current inner idler wheel (the one that is all black).
3. Cut the spacer where the 4th wheel is going to go into 2-pieces matching the two spacers measured in Step 2 above.
4. Buy a idler wheel that matches the current inner idler wheel complete with bearing.
NOTE: if there are "thrust" washers between the current inner idler wheel and spacers, buy two new thrust washers as well.
5. Install the updated axle assemlby with the 4th wheel added.
I have been riding my sled with this mod for 10K+ miles without any problems.
