Just thinking the other day and was wondering where this forum will be in a couple of years? Lots of people going to 4 strokes , im noticing less traffic on these boards than in previous years. Man it sucks we dont get new yammie 2 strokes :( :letitsnow :letitsnow
 
The constant bashing of 4 strokes (and Yamaha in general) endured on the two stroke side doesn't always make it enjoyable to be here for those that like both...............

hey Scott.you didn't buy that Apex you wanted to look at????Snow is starting late next week and temps will be dropping to -15C..Winter begins early it looks like..I am hoping.
 
there are a few of us still that like the old iron it seems and will never go 4 stroke.I guess this forum will have at least a dozen or less members on here one day..oh well.I love old stuff and am not to keen on new technology myself.Actually looking for older iron yet..like a 77 or 78 SRX440 myself.
 
I check in almost daily. But I also have my new sled so I get on hardcoresledder for updates in the Polaris section. No 4 strokes for me.
I heard a rumor that Yamaha has something big for 2014. Anybody hear anything along those lines. I would love to see a new 2 stroke.
The last 2 big announcements Yamaha had were less than stellar. The 1.75" back country nitro, and the rebadged arctic cat 120.
 
if it means the prices go up again,forget about it.I can put a lot of gas in my sleds in the years to come cheaper then ever buying a newer sled.And still can do over 100mph on my SRX..what else would I need.Love the triple sound and triple exhaust..lol

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA..... So true. Wish it was like the old days where we got new stuff every other year (or we could afford it to begin with). Saw an Rx1 on CL the other day with less than 5000 miles for $3500. Wont be too many more years 'til i have a 4stroke in my garage but the viper, dont think that will ever get sold...

Thats what im thinkin,ill never sell the sleds i got now,but will slowly upgrade to newer stuff,
 
I jump off my "93 SX Exciter onto my '03 Mnt Viper and I think "WOW!" Then I jump onto my Apex and I REALLY think "WOW!!!" I like the old iron and welcome the new iron as well.

Well im not bashing the 4 strokes just talking about where the site will be in a couple years as there is less and less traffic on this side. Im not against 4 strokes but would rather a 2 stroke :)

I wasnt fast enough, another idiot listing lower than actual value and then sending 3-4 people to look to create a bidding war lol this aint ebay.
I would of kicked myself anyway my sled is 100%fine and I love it so looks like im on the XTC this year. I listed it for 3000 on kijiji not 1 reply lol I asked around to buddies and jordan said he had a guy that would pay 2000. I would be giving it away for that.

Well looking at the way there PWC line went I would say a 220 hp plus supercharged 4 stroke by the sounds of it!!! yup all new supercharged SRX1000, bring back the blue!! Well I can dream cant I lol

If they really want to knock the socks off people, keep it 4 cylinder, I like the sounds of 1000cc, 2 stroke will work. Hmmm, let's call it a vmax-4 1000. I'd be into that! Quad pipe it from factory and it should be in the 200hp range, all motor!

Gets me to my next line of thinking, why the heck are the PWC so much cheaper than the sleds you get more power to lol :o|
