Hi all, can anyone tell me if the 2000 sx700 came with spacers from the factory? I was about to put some on and notice shiny aluminum spaces on that Imnow believe the previous owner put on, they didnt come with these did they ?

Are you sure it is not the back of the reed cages your seeing?
They are about 1/4" thick, shiny aluminum, I bought a set and am ripped when I went to install. Cant believe I didnt check first, I dont see these in the shop manual, who needs a brand new set !?
