what are you doing??Hope you are leaving and getting out of there..looks like it's gonna be the worst ever in History.A lot of people look like they will bunker down and stay..could be a BIG mistake.Winds,rain and snow combo..not to pretty.Probably a lot of damage gonna happen.Any of you riding out the storm,if you have power,let us know on here what you see.Good luck!!
 

i quess its gunna be a bad 1 im in vt we are just gunna get alot of rain and high winds hoplfuly no flooding but i hope the people in ny get out of harms way
 
Running Hydro and wind power tonight here in north east. Preps are done to hold and move alot water as needed. Looks like this is a wide spread storm.

Blue I can tell you we will have no snow and it must not going to be too bad in upstate ny because I am still sitting in school now!! :o| :o| :o| :whine:
 
Generator is all set ready to go. Already starting to get windy up here. Pretty amazing considering the storm is still hundreds of miles away still. I'm just glad it's not the mid of winter with 2' of heavy wet snow all over the trees. That's where we ran into problems a couple years ago. Everyone be safe.

heard the wind speeds are picking up..so again and it is now concentrated in a 1000 mile radius.I hope people are smart enough to get out from the predicted hardest hit zones...gonna be a lot of property damage,electricity out and perhaps snow and cold temps..not a pretty picture for sure.

Wind pounding here in Mass now, sustained around 30 with gust to 50 or more. still have power for now. Done work was pretty busy last night, 1 week vacation to move into new house..... Perfect timing .... Thanks Sandy!
 
My brother lives in Monmouth, NJ I called him this morning, to see how things were going. He was telling me that they sent him home early from work. He's a garbage man, he saw some flooding this morning and had to drive a round a few places. His house is on high ground but he said the shore is getting very wet.
 
I'm in central Vermont not far from Chascook. We're gonna get lots of wind and some rain. I bought some new chains for my chainsaws and also picked up some kites. Everyone stay safe!!
 
Still have power here. Don't know how long it'll last but we'll see. It's been flickering off and on for the last half an hour. Winds are 25-30 mph with gusts 50-60.
 
lost power here in southern CT about an hour ago...on generator power now...sustained winds at 50= with gusts to 70 or better. 80% power loss in the area. many wires and trees down. not a lot of rain here. crazy wind gusts though.....
 
50 miles south of me is raining and wind blowing I just got drizzle little wind
