Carbides for C&A Skis

I only run bergstom tripple points and ski savers now. Just put them on my new c&a razor's. Used them on my stock skis and they were awesome.

So this will be the first time with the C&A skis or have you used them with them before.

First time with the c&a but i have no doubt they will be awesome. They made my stock skis work better then ever. I also shim the bumpers. Only reason i changed is because i wanted a wider ski when boondocking.

I've been running them on my 02 Viper for app. 9,000 mi.. C@A Ultra Pro 7" wide. Call Bergstrom, tell him your setup and he'll tell you what length carbides you need. Don't be alarmed at the upfront cost. Tell him you're a TY member and I sent you. You'll get carbides, his ski saver and shims. And a discount. I've used his products for 20 yrs. and he's nailed the setup every time. And, oh yeah, the best part is they last! I ride Tomahawk WI a lot, and with the sandy base in that area I get min. 3 seasons on a set.

6" is more then plenty with the XT model. You can also run 4" if your trail riding.Since thats the most aggressive ski out there. If you need some let me know.I always have them in stock. What size track you running and studs ? The XT will make that sled turn like right NOW and your *** will be trying to catch the front.Just beware 1st time out.

I have a 121 track with no studs at the moment. I was thinking with the 4" since the skis are aggressive.

I have had C&A XT's for a few years now and I have found that the regular single carbides make them very hard to turn and they also like to dart a lot. I installed Bergstrom triple points last year along with the 1/4" ski savers and it made a huge difference, the steering effort is greatly reduced and darting is pretty much gone. I got the 8" on mine since I have a 144" track, you would be fine with 4" being a 121" I think but call up Bergstrom Skegs and they will tell you what you need.
