I just picked up a sled, and I'm the THIRD owner.... the last owner was burn-out that knew nothing about anything..... sled has been all done up, but the guy knows NOTHING so kinda useless. All he knew, was that the skis that are on my sled were ugly, and he thinks off of an Arctic Cat... but doesn't know for sure.... my concern is; I NEED NEW CARBIDES.... how the hell do I tell what the skis were intended for so I can get the right ones!? I'm a newbie to some things, this is one of them! THANKS! I will include the only pic I have.... THANKS

looks like a cat ski to me, it does have a srx style mount on it. don't be surprised if they work odd, the pivot on the yamaha mount to this ski looks to be a couple inches forward of the cat location. This will put all the weight on the front of the carbide, that is if they used a cat carbide.

yeah x2^^, they look like cat ski's. If that is a srx style mount, your gunna wanna make sure that the carbide studs fit in the same holes as stock cat ski's or if they are moved.

X3 on cat. You could pick up correct set of aftermarket or OEM yamahas. As far as getting new ones for the ski you have.....Take one of and take it with you to the carbide store! Thats part of the reason they are wrapped in clear plastic. Hold old right up againt new and find the match. If your local store prices dont have the size or style you want(or are to pricey) at the very least you will know what you need to order.

sounds good guys..... I would love stock yamaha skis but on a budget... so unless I can find a pair for under 75 bucks.... well.... stuck with these skis..... Good call on pulling the carbide off to compare, I just usually order online is all
