I need to pour alittle premixed gas down my pistons tonight to try get my 2000 sxr700 started. I have never premixed before. My brother gave me a quart of polaris blue. If i have 1 gallon in portable gas can how much oil do I add to can? And is it safe to take the rest and pour that into my tank once started???

put 4oz's to a gallon thats about 32:to 1.

Is it ok to put that in tank afterwards or will it make sled too rich????

just pour the leftover in the tank. wont hurt it.
If you are only putting a pop bottle cap full in each cylinder, just to get it to fire, you don't have to bother mixing it. At least I never have.
If you do premix the gas just throw the leftover in the tank, you'll be fine.
