Hey all,

Quick question, I don't have access to a dyno to run the torque curve so does anyone know if the AAEN triples will change my curve that much?

Tried some heavier clutch weights and dropped the RPM down to 8500ish and at full out it seems like the sled just hits a wall. Starts good, good mid accel, then flat.

At 9400 RPm the sled at least feels like its pulling at all speeds.

I guess bottom line, is 9400 RPM going to destroy my engine or should I be playing with clutching to drop it. I've searched and can't find anything related to AAEN triples and torque curves.

way to much rpm, that motor has the best power at 8400 but ya just got to get the right setup for what you want it to do.

Pipes will change your peak rpm for sure i personally cant tell you what to aim for. But if i were you i would call.up aaen and ask him what rpm u need to run for those pipes im sure they can tell you.

I have Aaen's on my SX too. 9200 sounds about right. You can still call Olaf and ask him. When I got my pipes I was able to order the heat shields and stuff from them. It was pretty cool that Olaf Aaen actually answered the phone.
