I'll admit I'm a little biased here. Being from Detroit I've had to adopt a real NFL team to root for and have been a Packer fan for a long time, so yesterdays game already had me in a foul mood when Moss did his little stunt.
All I could think of was how I miss Barry Sanders. Barry would make the most amazing run, leaving a wake of embarassed defenders laying on the field with nothing in their arms but air. Old number 20 would cross the goal line and cruise by the nearest Ref and hand him the ball. No dance no slam over the goal post no mooning. Emmit Smith was another showboat and Barrys leading rival for the annual rushing leader title. Barry consistantly beat Smith in spite of the Cowboys having an all pro bowl line, one of the top 3 or 4 QB's and great recievers to take the heat off the run. All Barry had was a team that half the NCAA could have owned.
Jim Brown said it best on the day Smith broke the all time career rushing record,
"Emmit Smith couldn't carry Berry Sanders jock" as far as I'm concerned neither could Randy Moss.
