Hey so after driving th mountain max lately (144x2) Ive been looking at tracks for my vmax and the 1 1/4 just isnt the same after hooking up perfect in the MM. What would a guy have to do, if anything to get a backcountry 1.75 in track on one of these. i know it would be worth it and totally transform the sled. thanks

probably need to go to 8 tooth drivers
dido. I have put some 1.5 tracks in sleds and have scrapped some with. On a pro action, 1.5 is the max and even that will leave the undertunnel black with rubber. You will want to go 8in and use extroverts as 8tooth drivers will make for some track tension issues.

I would pass on the Viper link above. Alot of show though. Look for a real Mountain Max or a Real Mountain Viper.

i currently have a kimpex shotgun 15x121 1.25 lug no studs.
i was thinking of getting a backcountry 1.75 or a ripsaw 1.5.
any other good tracks in this range?
what lug height can i run with 7 tooth extroverts?
will i need the 8 tooth extroverts with the 1.75 or 1.5?
i own a 1997 vmax 700 sx
