Please help this longtime board member pick a new sled.. non yammy

I've ridden Nytro's. Cool sleds. Not for me but I understand why those who like them do.

One thing I would never do again is borrow $ to buy a sled. Especially if it was something other than a Yamaha.

Making payments with interest for two years to account for a loss in value because I signed a purchase agreement just ain't my style.

Its great if you have to money to buy a new sled outright...But
Unfortunately,if it wasnt for loans, sled sales would not be so good :o| Very few sled owners have ever had enough $ to pay cash for a new sled. Its just the way it is.

what dont you like about the nytro? I was kind of thinking about getting a XTX.

I think betheviper was refering to the original poster,,, The Nytro wouldnt be the best choice for a 90% trail rider. The Apex/Vector would be a better choice.

I will say my Nytro XTX ( as much as I like the sled) hasnt lived up to my expectations. The rear suspension is the bigger issue. Very small window of comfort/ability. Bucks and bottoms-out on the big stuff, but is still chattery and unforgiving on the small washboard bumps(even after a revalve). There is an aftermarket upgrade to the rear, that I am seriously considering, just waiting for a few more real world reviews ;)!
