I have a question about the oil injection on a 98 xtc 700, still trying to repair it after the injection line cracked off, this took out the center cylinder and piston thecrank,the case,the water pump and the houseing and everything else that goes with it, anyway has anyone taken the oil pump off completely and run premixed gas, reason i am asking is because i noticed that the pump also lubes the bearings(I THINK)the line running under the case? Will premixing provide sufficient lubrication to the bearings, ive done it to other yamahas but never noticed that extra line on the bottom them, any help is greatly appreciated
