Just got the new M 10 SS under the sled. Can't wait to give it a try....just need SNOW!!!

if those are viper front shocks on your vmax, make sure you have clearance for the can on the shock when it is bottomed out.
 
Those are indeed Viper S shocks.Been running those for a couple of seasons now .Work fantastic. I leave the plastic adjuster knob off the top to avoid clearance issues .Thanks for the heads up.
 
The top of the hood and the white is paint. The red stripes are vinyl. My interpretation of a 30 th anniversary sled they never made(but should have). I still have the original hood as well. Glad you like it,thanks.
 
Nice the pro action is a solid performer. I've gone back to it after riding a bunch of newer sleds its like riding and old girlfriend or something. Here's mine. I used a sc10-3 and rev seat what a difference

Those sleds look trick. nice work. I pondered putting a new skid under my sled but decided to have all my shock rebuilt instead. cheers :2strokes: :letitsnow :letitsnow
 
There is too many pivot points in a proaction rear skid and its all plastic bushings even after replacing all plastic bushings with new ones they t still really loose and the shock has to flex all those joints before it can react with the sled. If u replaced all bushings with bronze bushings and hard shafts the skid would work sooo much better but would b twice as heavy and it is already heavier than others. All that flexing ends up in the w arm if u ride it hard through the moguls like I like too and that will need repair work soon. I've trashed 3 different ones and ill admit I used to be hard one some of them. Something about riding double with chicks on the back and hammering down. Oh we'll they never left me stranded just couldn't get rid of that feeling of the skid just packing up and not knowing what to do. It's part of the reason I switched to doo for 5 years. I pounded both doos we had harder than my yammy due to the confidence u get after u don't break your sled every time u jump a snow bank and land wrong. But the motor problems they experience aren't confidence builders. So I'm building best of both worlds

looks awesome man am thinking on do the same thing to mine what suspension did you use and where did you get that seat I would like to get a little higher also any information would be appreciated. thanks Rick
 
will the m10 fit my 99 vamx 600 with a 121 in track if so what is the best you can do cash money I am just across the border from Fort Fairfield. thanks Rick
 
Hi Rick. The M10 sill fit in your sled. You just have to follow mounting instructions. There are great details in the tech section. I ordered the M10 direct from FAST. Check with them for their current pricing & shipping. It does take about 8 hours to complete. Seat is from Boss and I ordered it direct from them as well.You'll also need to use a bar riser and I would strongly suggest you have the steering post reinforced. You will snap it off if you don't...its only a matter of time. Check the classified section for used deals.Best of luck on your build.
