going to walmart tonight to buy my antifreeze tester..... gonna change out chaincase oil in morning also as I have no idea when it was done last.. what exactly kind of oil do I look for at walmart or auto store? do I have to stick with yammy brand from dealer? what are others on this site using? don't want to get the wrong stuff... would like to buy it from walmart while im there if its possible but not sure what to look for..thanks

You should use chain case lube. We use Klotz. cost is under $10 per bottle on bottle is enough for two sleds. I don't shop at Walmart so I don't know what type of lubricants they have. Sorry. Anyway, you can buy Klotz chain case lube on Ebay and have it shipped directly to you. Good luck Al

I went to autostore.. purchased mobile 1... says syntetic gear lubricant 75w-90 LS.... is this ok? 1 quart was $9.99

Actually i did mix it w coolant. Wasn't looking when i was refiling my chaincase and relized i had bottle of coolant. Poured probably tablespoon or so in chaincase(oops).. drained it again, refilled w chaincase oil and drained again to make sure no coolant in there. I guess we know it wont overheat...
