2-up seats for VMAX chassis?

anybody know if two up seats are available or fit on a '99 SX 600 VMAX chassis? If they do, does anyone have one they would like to part with?

If I remember correctly, 97-99 will fit. They changed the seat eliminating the integrated rack, making the rear seat longer. My 01 Venture has the longer seat and is much better for passenger and driver. Best of luck finding one, they're scarce!!
 
I think he meant 97-99 would fit, that the 00 and up are a longer seat which makes more room for both riders. Based on his memory, I my self :dunno: Take a tape measure to yours and have seller measure theirs!
 
LOL, thank's for helping clear up my confusing post. I SHOULD have said they changed the seat in 00. The 97-99 are a straight bolt on. I've seen them on Vmax's, SX, SXR, and Viper's. I even considered 1 for my 136'd Viper, but picked up the Venture for my wife to ride.

I think it was the "eliminating the intergated rack" part....I knew what you meant. We are only limited by our own imiginations!

i put one on my 2000 sxr,all i know is he said it came off a 121 sled,got a backrest off something else on ebay,footrests not correct either but fit,everything bolted right on and heaters plugged right in to seat,pics in working log...got all this cheaper then a seatjack but that is also a good option
 
The Seatjack is certainly another good option. Bought a used one for the wife's Polaris and is really slick. Easy on when you need it, easy off when you don't. You can usually find em' for around 100 bucks or so used. Just have to get the brackets to fit your machine.
 
2 up seat

I have a OEM Yamaha 2 up seat that will be a direct bolt on. It includes the backrest and grab handles for the passenger too. $150 plus shipping and it's yours. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you some photos. This belongs to a friend....he left it at my place and told me to sell it if I had the chance.
