How does a grip come off thats riveted on? Whether its glued or not? That thing does have a set screw it should be a rivet. You can glue it with 5 min epoxy and rivet it or if you want to be prim and proper you can go to any bike shop and they sell grip adhesive. When you try to take your new one off remove the rivet and wrap your hand around it with a leather glove and twist it. If that doesn't work, you can do it the old fashioned way by heating it up good and hot and then twisting it. If that doesn't work then wreck it, I have new Yammie ones. If you need to heat it, just hook the 2 leads to a battery, it gets hot quick so be careful, get it too hot and it will just fall apart in your hands. Thats how we used to get the old ones off and save them......
