Second day out sledding and my ski got caught in a hole in a tunnel under the highway and snapped the right trailing arm. In an attempt to get the sled to the road the left ski decided to go completely sideways snapping my left trailing arm. The sled will spend the night in a small trail just 50ft from the highway. I have a gopro vid that i will upload on youtube and post to this thread. Is there a member here that can hook me up with 2 trailing arms, 4 radius rods, and 1 tie rod? It will cost $320 through kimpex new.

the really isnt in good enough shape for me to spend a whole lot of money into it. I hit 21000km yesterday on original engine so im expecting it to blow anytime soon, so im just looking to get it through this winter.

DAMN....you dont do anything part way! I bought a 99 srx I affectionatley call "stump rash" Guy Paid 2k for it, rode it 15 miles into a stump, sold it to me for $780. Belly pan melted into pipes and radious rods/trailing arm on right side looking like yours or worse. Knowing nothing about the history of the sled I bent the trailing arm back, braced with plate steal and FLOGGED it the rest of the season. Put 700 miles on it, wasnt pretty but neither was our snow situation! Its fixed correctly now.

you should be able to get used oem stuff for about the same money and actually make it through the season

sorry to hear this..yep try and patch up the best you can for rest of season, you will find used parts pretty cheap..check with viperking himself I have to watch out this year on the River..conditions are great but since River is low this season, man there are a ton of rocks above the ice everywhere.Won't take much to take out my sled and me on one of them rocks..a little scary, but I try to stay on the sled tracks..but like to hit the powder and today nailed a couple smaller objects....

I have couple of trailing arms & some radius rods that I've been meaning to post to the Classifieds. Let me know if you are interested. one arm is tweeked, and the radius rods were bent and straightened, but they will last you a few seasons. I'd let them go pretty cheap... Dang, I see you're in Canada, well if you want them let me know.

here you go! looking over the vid i was going a bit fast through it. I was the first time the year and it had been damaged over the summer. my bud snapped his carbides off if you can hear the snap near the end.

both trailing arms were rusted out on the bottom and already bowed out a little. the handle bars swung and hit me in the gut pretty hard too.

It looks like a tired horse that has given all it has. Fix it up, it's hardly broke in!
