stein700sx VIP Member Joined Feb 12, 2005 Messages 1,999 Location Southern Manitoba Canada Dec 31, 2012 #4 After you have checked the reeds, try ohming out the sparkplug cap. Unscrew it from the plug wire and connect the ohm meter to each end. It should read close to 5k ohms.
