is yamaha hanging up the sledd race??

There is a thread on hcs about somebody spotting a Yamaha factory trailer at a staging area. The riders unloaded 2 nytros and 2 Turbo cats. He says they were kinda sketchy about being seen.

Snowtraxx set up a big change coming with yamaha in last weeks episode. I want yamaha to release a sled that gives me the feeling I got when I first saw the 97 sx700 in 96. That sled still gets me. They've had good sleds since but It makes sense what Luke Lester said about yamaha taking away the R and d funding for northamerican markets in 2005-6. The apex wasn't that big of change from the rx1. The nytro and phazer were already developed and they haven't done anything new since. I have owned a lot of newer sleds and have gone back to riding a proaction chassis 700 triple and have put skidoo suspension in it. It's a killer handling riding pretty light bulletproof sled. For cheep money. If yamaha were to develope the sled we know they can and there faithful customers deserve I would prob have to discuss financial situation with the ol lady but it would take another 700 sx kinda unvale with significant weight reduction. Or just a modern 700 di srx with modern a arm chassis.:) ya modern srx would doo

if Yamaha were to develop a turbo sled.
Yamaha should test it against the only turbo sled, 1100 turbo ac.
turbocharged or supercharged nytro for 2014 is my guess.

The unisone of Yamaha and Arctic is not going to happen. These two company's are in a fierce battle every single weekend during the Cross Country racing events. Arctic is the only competition Yamaha is facing. Al
