Compression Test and :(

Lots of info on compression testing on the forum if you use search function.
Basically:
-pull plugs
-ensure you turn key off and or hit kill switch
-attach tester
-secure throttle wide open[I use a tie wrap or zio tie...MAKE SURE TO REMOVE IT AFTER TESTING!!!]
-pull sled briskly approx 5 times to get max reading
-repeat on all cylinders

Readings will vary on a cold to hot engine and from tester to tester

In addition a gauge with a long hose will have lower numbers than one with no hose. The key here is 1 cylinder was 80 lbs lower so theres definately a problem. I suspect the problem will be obvious when it gets torn apart. Have you every done compression test on this motor before?

Well I am taking it into the dealer on Wednesday morning. I spoke wit the mechanic and he feels that cylinder 2 & 3 are likely fine. He said hard to tell with cylinder 1 until he tears into it. Hopefully the bill isn't too large and that I can have it back up and running soon.
