took sled out of storage started it and ran crappy sounded like plugged pilots. Put fresh fuel and sea foam went for a short ride with no improvement.
Pulled carb and cleaned all jets making sure there were no restrictions. Same issue does nor run properly and sounds sick when hitting throtte. Checked silencer and pipe for any nests but all clear....can it be wiring harness or rusty magneto causing the issue...any other possabilities.
 
My sled is doing the same thing just pulled it out of storage and cleaned carbs new plugs etc..went fine for one ride and now it wont idle and the sled dies out by electrical means.
 
HELP NEEDED!!!! I remved carbs again and cleaned again even though jets were not plugged, adjusted choke, changed spark plugs and plug caps and still sounds sick when you hit throttle. The acceleration is bad and sounds rough. I also pulled wiring harness and no issues but taped harness. Set fuel screws and still not running properly..any suggestions.
 
What does the spark look like when the plusga are out?? weak, blue - crisp??? you may neeed to clean the magnets on the flywheel.

When cleaning the carbs did you blow though just the jets or through the passages in the carburetors too?? did you just use carb cleaner to clear the passages or compressed air?
 
Check stator and CDI? Run it with the headlight unpluged to reduce the load on the stator. What about a bad fuel line or fuel pump? bypass the tors ?
 
I used my compressor to clean the pilots but only carb cleaner through the passages.
Fuel lines I changed when cleaning carbs. Did not check magneto or cdi. This is a friends sled and was left outside with a cheap cover.
