Anybody have any expierence with Pioneer Performance and this kit? I have a stock 02 that I am thinking about adding a little bit more shock to it. I got a couple of 4 strokes but sure do like to ride my SRX on good trails. Any issues with handling? Is it worth the $$$? They claim it will sit like an SXr and Viper?

I have an 00 that came with pioneer kit already in it(front&rear). I like it. Rides better than the GFs SxR or the "viper shock long travel" under the 01 srx.
I have the pioneer shock extenders upfront on my '02 and the rear is a complete viper assembly.( Same thing) The only difference is that pioneer will revalve the viper shocks to work...."better"
My honest opinion....The thing is a lot better through the bumps but I can't help but I am ALWAYS looking to regain that legendary srx handling in the corners. The center of gravity is higher now so in my opinion it just handles like every other sled out there. It is harder to pitch into a corner and the skis lift is doubled.
To each his own.....I still have mine in but I am really thinking of swapping just to test but the lack of snow makes it hard.

if you go up without going wider, you will make the sled need more input or, negative laziness in the corners. I prefer to set a sled up for positive laziness. wider, bigger bars, and as low as you can get it.

Good info guys, I really like to leave it stock and did not want to alter the handling of the sled at all if possible. thanks

Go wide and you won't regret it.
